SB-1000 PermStik™ is a water-based chip stabilizer designed for permeable paving systems. It binds ASTM #8, #9, or #89 aggregate chips to reduce scattering, washout, and surface wear. With a breathable formula, it can be applied immediately after installation and won’t trap moisture or efflorescence. Its antifungal protection helps prevent mold, moss, and algae on the sealer film, making it ideal for outdoor use. SB-1000 also resists stains, salts, and surface contaminants, preserving a clean look and easing maintenance. It dries clear, is freeze-resistant, and safe for use on concrete pavers, natural or manufactured stone—though not recommended for granite, marble, asphalt, or glazed tile.
